nice shots Teru. E-PL5 is indeed a wonderful compact body and lots of great shots here. Once E-PL5 price goes down I'll consider it as back-up for my OMD ;-)

It depends, if I use live view on photos and also record videos it usually around 400 to 500+. But I'm not worried I always have 3 batteries (including the one in use. 2 generic batteries from ebay...

This is a very good weather sealed and all around kit lens so if you need it then I suggest you buy it. It's built in macro at 43mm is a great bonus :-) I haven't read any new Olympus lens coming...

Try OMD and if you like it then buy it :-)On future, I don't have a crystal ball so if a brand is good it will stay and will be there for a long time. Look at Pentax... it changed ownership a dozen...
