Take enough good pictures to keep me happy.

$5 Billion to the mob. HSN should buy them.
Tsuyoshi Kikukawa who fired Woodford has now himself had to resign. There is nothing legit when a billion is missing and two of the big accounting houses have said the missing Billion does not pass the sniff test and the FBI is investigating. http://www.nytimes.com/2011/10/27/business/global/olympus-chairman-resigns-amid-widening-scandal.html?_r=1&scp=1&sq=olympus&st=cse
Mssimo: I hope Panasonic or richo (aka pentax) buys off Olympus camera/health division.

Kenneth Margulies: Apple just integrates everything better. The products are elegant. Other products may catch up...someday. But for now, Steve Jobs has left an amazing legacy.
"It is RIDICULOUS that you MUST use iTunes to do anything with Apple devices" With the new iPhone and iOS there is NO requirement for a Mac or PC or iTunes. The tethering cord has been cut in a post PC world.
hiro_pro: iCondolences Steve Jobs
Is the iPhone iconic in the way it revolutionized things? Yes
Would it be nice if dpreview did a group roundup on camera phones or told us a little more about them? Yes
As the #1 Camera on Flickr it is relevant to photographers.
Instagram has over 10,000,000 users the new version got them over that hump. it took the hot startup Foursquare just over two years to get to 10 million users — Instagram did it in just under a year. It took Twitter and Facebook well over two years to hit the milestone as well. iPhone is #1 on Flickr. The only constant is change.http://techcrunch.com/2011/09/26/instagram-10-million/
djsphynx: First sentence seems to be missing something... roughly what?
This reminds me of the Pentax 110 SLR. Great little camera not headed for greatness. For the Flickr/Facebook crowd a very nice Camera. For even a casual reader of DPReview a #Fail. Because there are Nikon fans who want a good IQ in a mirrorless format. A larger sensor will lead to them defecting from Nikon.
Canon has always been wait and see, never on the bleeding edge. It will be interesting to see what they offer.
