It's true, I would be guessing which is which. I just bought the X-A1 an hour ago and looking forward to trying it out.

Since my first comment on this forum an hour ago, I went out an bought the XA1(black) from my local dealer. I have a two week trial to decide and I will take it on my Miami trip this week. I'm not...

I've been checking this forum because I am intrigued by the Xtrans sensor and it's results. I was set on considering the XM1 but with the comparisons I've seen against the Bayer sensor, I'm now...

Thanks. Very tempting but I would rather the XM1 now or wait a bit for the XE2.
-
That's amazing. I will now have to look at the XA1 more closely. I was only considering Fuji for it's Xtrans sensor but the Bayer isn't bad at all.
-
As expected. I traded in my GX1 for 50% of what I paid 6 months after the fact. I was seriously thinking of getting the GX7 but will wait to see the price drop. Then again, I'm leaning more towards...

Don't fool yourself. A great photograph is mostly the photographer. Every camera maker has a camera with great capability in the right hands. I still feel the end result is more a product of the...

I agree. Nikon might be hoping to get serious photographers all over to FX. I'm personally not a DX supporter because it was always a stepping stone for me towards FX. Having said that, DX has come...

I would buy the lens first. Invest in quality lenses as bodies will always be outdated faster than lenses.

Very well done. I like the composition and of course the lighting. I expected better detail/focus of the tree trunk on the first though. Which lens did you use?
-
Why would they make their entry FF have the best of everything. Then they might as well sell you the D800 or D4 for $2000. Everybody wants the best for cheap and that's not how businesses are run....

The Nikon SB900 to SB910 only corrected the overheating problem.
-
For me, the only reason to buy a fuji is for the unique characteristics of the Xtrans sensor.
I'm currently a FF shooter looking for a mirrorless. The XM1 is on the top of my short list.
-
When a FF NEX arrives with interchangeable lenses, more RX1s might go on sale.
-
I expect only a "new" shutter in the D610 to satisfy those (new buyers) that are concerned about the dust issue. The rest will be identical.
-
I had a Pany GX1 for travel and was considering the GX7 but I've always admired the Xtrans sensor and this might be the compact system for me.
-
Not surprising. I'm inclined to believe Nikon Rumors in that like the SB900 to SB910, the D610 may just have one fix, the shutter, nothing more.
-
I like the idea. I've always wanted a "rugged" camera but the IQs were lousy not to mention the AF speed. I will definately look into this new model when the price settles a bit.
