tell the truth: Why does a just announced yesterday features camera,, that CAN NOT compete in the HI RESOLUTION arena , straight out of the box need a piece of tape to repair, cost more that a better Quality Nikon ?

An aircraft company needs to be more accurate, because peoples lives depend on it. Not quite so for Canon dSLR cameras.
The last 5% of a product development cycle is far more expensive and time consuming than the first 95%. So, rather than have the users wait, I would prefer to have the product in my hands, and let the company gradually fix the little problems that it has along the way. But, that's just me.
