jambalawa: beautiful image.. my eye does want to see a bit less sky and a bit more at the bottom of the falls however.. might just be me.. might not have been possible of course.. perhaps if you had stood on that rock out the front? 8'P
I'd be pushing up daisies if I tried to get to that rock :0), its further out then it looks. Someone did die there earlier this year. The trees blocked the lower part of the waterfall from this location. I have other pictures from different spots but not the same color in the sunset. Thanks for your comments and vote.
That is one of my frustrations with this forum. Apparently even the voters don't read the rules of the challenge and give low votes to those who don't meet the challenge rules, and some people give only .5 stars to really nice pictures. I have seen pictures that should have won or at least been in the top 5 and ended up in the 30's.
No editing was done to the picture, except to crop it some. I am really not sure why it came out as it did, which is why I felt it fit the challange. That same night I also took "Electric Road" which placed 18th and it came out like all my other lightning pictures. This one was very unusual. Thanks for your critique.
Thank you for your post, it is nice to see how others see these. Sometimes I don't understand what others see in the way votes go occasionally.
All I can say is "Wow, awesome picture"!!
31st seriously? Dude you go robbed. This is an outstanding photo. I REALLY liked it. Great work!
Wow, awesome picture! How did you do the light beams?
Really nice picture, however rules stated minimum of 30 sec.

•Exposure time must be 30 seconds or longer•You must mention the type of ND filter used, and the ND Number notation of that filter. E.g. ND1000, ND2.0, ND 104, etc.
As per your rules, may of these pictures did not follow them, shouldn't they be disqualified?
The rules stated "No B&W's", I see several black and white pictures in this challange. Though they were nice pictures, they didn't follow the rules and should have been disqualified.
Can I submit scans from slides if I know the camera setting?
