On Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ200 Hands-on Preview (155 comments in total)

trungthu: With the sensor's dimension = 6.06 x 4.56 mm, and the resolution 4000 x 3000.
I see that 6,06 mm / 4000 pixels = 0.0015 mm/pixel.
And the most importance thing is how can the "Leica lens" SEE THAT PIXEL, with the very low price lens, even with the big brand LEICA?
I want to say about the resolution of the lens, not only the resolution of the sensor.
How and what it can achieve? I don't know, please let me see. Thanks.

The sensor is the same size as the FZ150, However, the Preview above says that it is a NEWLY DESIGNED 12MP MOS sensor. And other previews said it is designed with even lower noise at higher ISOs than previous models. I can hardly wait to see the FULL review

Does anyone here realize how remarkable F2.8 at 600mm is? And with high quality Leica optics to boot.
Go ahead and look up a Canon or Nikon PROFESSIONAL 600mm lens. the fastest you'll find is F4 and the lens alone will cost about $10,000. I'm not saying the FZ200 optics are better, but to be able to offer these specs (even if it is on a consumer grade/small sensor camera) at a $500-600 total camera price is truly AMAZING!
Panasonic should sell alot of them.

Sounds nice. For better IQ, I hope they offer a similar one, but with a similarly larger sensor like the the X10 has. Even if it reduces that great superzoom capability to 17 or 18X. The image quality wpould be better
