Good news for Sony!!!.
Looks like Canon's strategy pundits feel photographers will eventually migrate to video...hence the need to develop DSLRs with better video capability only !!
Assuming I do win a lottery or a bag of $4000 falls on my head..and I buy this lens..But how do I manual focus with my 5Dm3? Its too painful...Hope Canon takes out 50 1.2L II
Latest addition to my bag- Expodisc Whitebalance filter
I'm planning to quit my job and start up the following.. I will manufacture dummy Leicas ( precise copies that will look like a Leica but actually just a dummy ) You can flaunt them (like jewellery) with pride!!M dummy: £1000Vario X dummy: £ 500Oh there will be a Hermes version copy later for £4000
Looks like Leica is creating brand imagery that says" Leica is not meant for photographers but only for the rich and snob. You just need to show the red dot to make every one aware you are rich and above others."Soon die hard M photographers will be ashamed to take their cameras out in public...as they may not be taken as serious photographers..
Sony and Fuji should immediately take out range finder styled full frames to capitalise on this..
zodiacfml: i knew, it was nothing close to an M. i could smell a mile away that they would want you to get the M, if you desire the mount and/or the sensor.
Asia is price sensitive market...for the affluent class they will go for the M9 or 240..
And we complained abt a $3000 full frame 35mm f2 RX1...Lets hope Sony releases a full frame NEX body soon..Wonder what was the business logic behind this camera...Dpreview should cover this
The photographs are so well captured and as if they tell a story...Thousands of people get laid of every day...The pictures really depict on- Their feelings on the situation...biiternes yet the reminiscence.. their achievements in the past- Their apprehension on how they will face the society - Realization on the challenge ahead..
Really feel like shifting to the M... (after trying out a friend's M9 + Summilux 35).
Summilux 35 FLE is just amazing !!
Then again for a M240 + Summilux 35 FLE, I will need to sell my entire gear of 5DM3, 24-70 2.8LII, 70-200-2.8LIS II, 85 1.2L II, 16-35 2.8L II, 600 EX and some more....
Looks like there may be a cheaper body...(or will it be)..Hope Sony & Fuji are working on a FF body..
Interface feels very cramped...Still like the 500px interface..Flickr is trying very hard though ..1 TB limit is a superb deal.
All the bags are super ugly....specially the bagpack..They need to fire their designer really..
I somehow find backpacks are very inconvenient when you need to quickly draw out or in your equipment. Also you will need to place your backpack on a firm ground before opening the same. I had purchased the Crumpler backpack thinking it would ease the weight on my shoulder but discovered it is far too difficult to walk around. I guess it is good for trekking / climbing. After too many permutations and combinations I have finally discovered my comfort bag i.e Retrospective 30 which houses my 5D3 and 3 L lenses and 580 EX comfortably. Yet shoulder padding of this bag is not good enough.Still looking for better bags than this. Somebody has to come out with a magical design.
This is really a disruptive product from Nikon..Just think abt the target market..First time DSLR buyers....they will survey every product from every brand specifically compare with Canon and realize hey this entry level Nikon packs more MP than the single series Canon....Why should even look at entry level DSLRs from Canon or any brand.
MIII performs slightly better at high iso but considering nearly double MP and the excellent noise performance D800 is the true winner.Being a MII owner with several L lenses, I am disapointed.A lot of canonites will be tempted to switch to Nikon as they r consistently beating Canon in every DSLR segment. Will be interesting to see 1Ds m4 vs D4s
One ugly camera ...pretty surprising this is from Nikon.
