I always cradle the lens with my left hand, and grip with my right.  This makes size much less of an issue.  The ring on the lens is proportionately large for the camera size, so it makes focusing...

One of the main selling points is the camera's size.  If that is a detriment to you, a larger camera would better suit your needs.

Greg,I would look at the RX1 as another tool in your kit.  You are correct that it is limiting and forces compromises.... if you use it outside of its sweet-spot.  For me, it is become the perfect...

The compactness, coupled with the F2 lens and FF sensor were what drew me to it.  In all of my other gear, I didn't have something that would give me the smooth Bokeh that I've missed since selling...

I wonder if the Contax G lenses will work as FF lenses on the upcoming NEX FF system?

I also have the Contax G 90mm, as well as the Contax 135mm (which works out to about 200mm).  The manual lenses are too much trouble for action photos, and I've just never warmed up to the 55-210....

When I first got it, I thought it was simply going to be for low light and situations where I wanted to minimize DOF.  But the more I looked at it's results, I found I was using it in different...
