  • That is just how it is.  I don't think its an issue at all, really.  When you press the playback button,  they expect you to review your photos on the rear LCD.  That is how it works on regular...
  • as the other have said, if it works as advertised, keep it.  550 actuations is nothing.  I do 300-400 shots when I cover a single event and around 100-200 on a regular day's shoot.

    Really good advice here.  The e-pl2, while a little long in the tooth, will blow away any point and shoot in terms of IQ.  Consider also getting the panasonic 20mm 1.7 and/or the olympus 45mm 1.8....
  • I've used the e-pl2 (my first serious camera) for almost 2 years and the OMD simply blows it away.  You can recover more highlights and shadows with the OMD (good for landscapes) and its iso 3200...
