They could use conventional sensor or any modified sensor. With such a small aperture, the image is going to be noisy as hell even with good light.

2. Most people cannot tell the difference at a distance of 2 feet.

Bluetooth is too slow for file transfer. Only 2Mbps or so on a good day. That means a typical JPEG these days will take 15+ seconds to transfer.

In my experience, XZ-1 metering tends to "cheat" by using low ISO but under expose when in door. Make sure you account for that as well.
