Thanks, everyone, for your insight!

I don't really get it... Doing the math, the subscription is cheaper than buying the software license outright, especially for what you get. It takes a couple years at least of monthly subscription...

The composition looks great. Thanks for the explanation :)

Where's the photo used in the thumbnail?

Semantics aside, whatever you want to call it, there are some photographers who want it :) It would be nice to have a file format between JPEG and RAW that provides much of the "digital negative"...
-
Personally, I would be thrilled to have a Nikon sRAW format at my fingertips. With resolution (and therefore file size) increasing to tremendous levels, I would love the flexibility that RAW...

I have no interest in the camera itself, but the image quality looks impressive! Living up to DX.

From my understanding, camera support is built-in to each version, so you would need to upgrade to take advantage of it. (I recommend it!)

Then lens "speed" (in terms of light-gathering power) indeed does change with this adaptor, as it is focusing more light on a smaller area (thus increasing the amount of light reaching the sensor,...

Personally I would be interested in a full frame to APS-C speed booster, allowing me to get the most out of my old full-coverage lenses on my newer, cheaper, crop-sensor DSLR bodies.

Looks pretty good! I hope they work with Adobe to optimize RAW processing. Also still hoping for 24mm in the X30.

Wow, the RX100 really does seem to meet or beat D300 quality......
-
Agreed... I don't think that lens quite gets its due. That said, I do find the image quality a bit lacking, and am excited to see how the market responds to the RX100 in the next year or two.

The colors on all these are looking very muted. Also, I'd love to see some RAW photos.

While we're at it... why are we making rectangular sensors, anyway? Lenses product circular images... why not a square or circular sensor? This goes one-step beyond Panasonic's "multi-aspect"...

I would love to see focusing screens come back.
