Way to go!
Right now I'm using Sony A7s + Metabones adapter + EF lenses (in manual focus assist mode). For my photography this is best equipment I ever had, quality of images is excellent, handling is great and whole setup is just fun to use.
Waiting for 50L equivalent from Sony (50mm F1.2 or faster).
nekrosoft13: if i can find replacement for my Tamron 150-600 that would work well on Sony I might switch.
Family so distant that I'm not even sure it counts.
Now AF is pathetic slow, but I guess new firmware will fix it, also MF mode is very neat in A7x ... (auto zoom when focus ring moved).
Just use metabones.
Whole "play memories" experience is c*appy at best, free apps should be available for download without stupid account.
"extensive customization options can be overwhelming" - this should be in "pros".
LOL - one month - what a joke :-)
DeadFreakin: I've withdrawn my urbex entry because most of the shots here are not of urbex or roof-topping subjects.
It was obvious from beginning. He never complained about Canon famous banding :-P
This Sony + Eos adapter + 50L
I dont get this. They can get the same effect by using binning on bottom layer. Looks like broken batch from regular X3 sensor with software binning.
Canon please do something useful, maybe some progress in sensor development.... or even sensors without banding?
mpgxsvcd: Will everyone asking for super high resolution sensors on the cameras please go out and shoot a memory card full of 32 megapixel RAW images and 100+ mb/sec 1080p @ 60 FPS movies and then try to upload those over a 3G connection?
Last time I checked LTE 4G has not made it to that area of Mars yet. Once that happens I am sure that they will be able to get much higher resolution images and videos from their rovers.
But then... you can shoot 32mpixel image and scale it down to flawless 2mpix...
liptonius: I am not impressed. My GF1 brings me just as good pictures with my Nikon 35 F-.1.4 lens.
Excellent Sony sensor. Hopefully all kind of noise reduction can be turned off for good color reproduction.
I wonder, what about banding @ low iso.
Great, I like impressionistic look.
