Probably how they earn their pay and in this case they are right, I don't like X-trans pics, I think they look weird but the gallery here are the best I've seen, maybe I'm just getting used to...

I actually prefer the look of bayer sensors over the X-trans. Pictures taken with them look weird to me for some reason.
