Processor: Prime II - is it prime or second? :)
Calvin Chann: Sorry, but for me the colour of the thing is a serious point. I haven't bought any of the Oly lenses that are mentioned in this preview, because of the colour of the things. All my camera bodies are black (except a white G3 that I bought by mistake) and to me, a silver lens on a black body is not discrete enough.
Looks like Oly have lost me as a potential customer!
If lenses is just gadgets, then lens color is most important factor.
Mescalamba: Wonder why they think Sony users wouldnt like to have VC as option.. Sure in 24-70 difference between stabilised sensor vs lens isnt big, still for movies its nice option..
I never have seen much lower price for Sigma/Tamron (Sony) lenses wo IS. I would buy stabilized lens for Sony.
Petteri Sulonen: This makes no sense to me. Why shackle themselves to the K-mount, with its long flange-sensor distance? They could've introduced a new mount optimized for mirrorless, and provided a fully-functional, electronic K-mount adapter for legacy lenses, like Nikon did with the 1 system.
Indeed, why so long flange-sensor distance? Therforee is very little size advantage and rather bad ergonomic.
I like food photography because it is macro or semi-macro photo and therefore take out details which is at least partially hidden to human vision or point of view.
May be food photos are boring, when you are full... It is really interesting how people could add political nonsense even to food photography.
