Canon 24 / 1.4L
Canon 50 / 1.2L
Canon 100 / 2
Sigma 150 / 2.8 macro

Next up: 14 / 2.8L II (would prefer a 17 / 1.8L or even 17 / 1.4L)

Canon 580EX II, ST-E2

What I really hope for in the next-gen 5D:

1) A few more AF points, all high precision and f/2.8, as well as more spread out
2) One stop better ISO performance at the top end without hurting the bottom end
3) Less shutter lag (at least half)
4) TAv / Auto ISO, and not that crippled BS that's on the 40D
5) More efficient method to set WB (yes, I shoot RAW, but I still want it)
6) Dustless viewfinder and sensor
7) Quieter shutter with 'Silent Shutter' mode
8) Zoom to AF point on playback
9) On-demand electronic level (not betting on this one, however)
10) Weather sealed

OK, about TAv mode. Here's what it does:

You specify both the f-ratio and the shutter speed -- the camera chooses the ISO. You also select the floor and ceiling ISOs, and the priority safety shift when they are reached (f-ratio or shutter speed).

How I want the WB set to work:

First, change the Direct Print Button to a custom button. Then, I can assign it to Set Custom WB. With a single press, the camera changes from whatever WB mode it's in, into AWB, takes the picture *without focusing*, and sets the new custom WB. Simple, isn't it?

My ideal DSLR:

1. 40x60 sensor
2. Anywhere from 20-40 MP
3. A 5x7 grid of equally spaced high precision f/2.8 AF points with ECF and AF point lock.
4. No more than half the shutter lag of the 5D -- the less the better
5. In-camera IS with anti-dust sensor shake
6. Auto ISO
7. On demand electronic level
8. Quiet shutter with 'Silent Shutter' mode
9. One press Set WB
10. Weather sealed
11. Zoom to AF point on playback
12. Spot metering linked to selected AF point.
13. HDR mode

The lenses I would want for this amazing machine (35mm FF equivalents in parentheses):

20 / 2.8 (12 / 1.8)
28 / 2.8 (17 / 1.8)
40 / 2 (24 / 1.2)
60 / 2 (35 / 1.2)
80 / 2 (50 / 1.2)
120 / 2 (70 / 1.2)
160 / 2.8 (100 / 1.8)

My ideal complement to a DSLR:

A compact digicam with an 8 MP 4x sensor, 4-12.5 / 2 lens (16-50 / 8 in terms of 35mm FL/DOF equivalents) that completely retracts into the body, IS (either in-lens or on the sensor), custom selectable AF point(s), instant AF and zero 'shutter' lag, RAW (duh), on-demand polarizer, HD video, very weather resistant, flip-out LCD, instant wake, no larger (and preferably smaller, if possible) than a G9.
