Does anyone know if the black and metal versions of the OM are painted or that's the color of the metal used...? (or some other process is applied)

Ben O Connor: I seriously wish that, OM-D would have built in flash ! I would bothered to carry "must" accessory seperately all time :(

Even this alone, i would go for NEX-7

In the end you will always have panasonic to consider and the Leica V-lux 3, if you are looking for complete solutions, just remember if you grab the sony, does it inspire you..?

I understand you perfectly… I was a few days ago in the same cross road, that is between the NEX-7 and the E-M5, and let me share you this: Olympus, in fact the entire Micro 4/3's system is not just for convenience e.g. Integrated flash, billion-pixel-sensor, Uber-ultra-super-Full-high- definition video, etc. This camera is about the "feel" of it, and whether or not when you grab it you "connect" with it, Is about you mounting your flash, your lenses, your adapters, your straps, is about finding the "perfect" bag for your gear, etc. For this type of camera you have to think Leica x1, fuji x100, etc.

Before you decide take a moment and check the cameras in the store and see "feel" them, that did it for me, specially the weight and size of the lenses, not to mention the price…

Check this link, very good read to clear your doubts in this is for you. http://www.four-thirds.org/en/special/story.html
