Does anyone else see a thematic kinship between this and Avedon's In the American West? By the way, the heyday of "freighthopping," traditionally called hoboing, was the Great Depression. There's...

I like to shoot from the hip. Because of the wide angle of the 23mm lens I get lots of cropping room and of course can take hundreds of shots as I walk, so don't really miss a viewfinder. I use a...

John, don't hesitate to take the X100. I took mine to Europe, and it was the grease! I took it everywhere, using a wrist strap, that enabled me to whip it up and get the shot. Europe is street...

This is the problem with editorial reviews. They are only critiques of the cameras out-of-the-box -- snapshots, so to speak. But to do like the car mags, and do long-term road tests would require...

K.I.S.S. works for me, too. I've been waiting. And waiting...and waiting for a full-frame x0D. OK, so call it a 6D. I'll pounce!
