actually, Snowdon is not the bright section of mountain, but behind that..
unfortunately for me bicester terrier you need more than water and a single span bridge...mine had both and my image got tossed outMaybe looking at the others, my water wasnt big enough!
mutriu: Hahaha. That is so funny! A couple months ago my entry in the contest "Flowers in my room" was disqualified because the host didn't se the room despite the fact that my white gardenia was shot indoor. And now look what's going on. Correct it right away please. Only brooks, not huge rivers and lakes, not huge constructions. Otherwise what's the point anyways!!!
Well i suppose it gives for a new challenge"your best photo, disqualified for meeting ALL the rules"Or would i get disqualified from that also :-)
RuthC: That's a brook??? Not really!
yes ruth but a nice BIG bridge!
david_d: Well my image has been disqualified because the bridge cannot be seenIve just loked and i can see it clearly enoughCan my image please be put back in again as i have broke no rules whatsoever! And i suggest the host to get some glasses!
Thanks for your support RuthCwhat a strange challenge, you get disqualified for meeting all the rules, and allowed, with rivers, canals etcMaybe there was a rule that the bridge should be a certain noumber of pixels in sizeI thought my image was ok, the brook lead the eye through the image up to a nice little stone built bridgeSeems my time was wasted preparing an image for this after all
Well my image has been disqualified because the bridge cannot be seenIve just loked and i can see it clearly enoughCan my image please be put back in again as i have broke no rules whatsoever! And i suggest the host to get some glasses!
Sorry forgot to add whereThis was taken near sheffield, in the United KingdonA road ocross the pennines, called the Woodhead Pass
Well i dont know if that is a serious admission of vote rigging, but the more you look at this person the more you are totally convinced of someone making a total mockery of the voting systemTake his picture, in Best Ever photo... came 640th, and you guessed it, a huge amount of low votes, but the few that appreciate the quality and they give 5 perfect 5'sStill!, at least i would not even consider putting this shot forward, as the best i could do, no matter how many 5's it might get ( id have to rescue it out of the recycle bin first too!)I wonder how low this would have been without the 5 very appreciative votes ( probably where it deserves to be)anyone with half a brain can see what is going on here....not sure how it could be stopped though.I wish i had the eye to appreciate what i cannot seem to see....
Just enlarged it to see this emotion and mystery.....still couldnt see it--- must be me!, can anyone else see it and explain what im missing here pleaseAll i see is a snap of a boat while its snowing. Also noticed bust bunnies that havent been cloned out.Perfect photo? get real!No problem with anyone voting 5 on a photo they like, but try looking a bit deeper into the voting.Look at the photo that came 6th, i thought that was nice, and it did well, but only 1 5 vote.youre not related to the poster are you? :-)
This person would do well in this too...would get first place.... and second, and third and fourthor would they all be joint first :-) 7 votes each average 5Right ill stop being cynical now...
there must be 7 or 8 people who think every image he enters deserves 5 stars..Very loyal followers!.. i think not, more like one person, multiple accountsThen again i could be wrong, have been before...
I agree!I came 23rd and was happy to do so, but then when i saw the boat image, i sat there wondering if i was somehow missing something. When you look at no5, then number 6 that is has beaten, gotta be something wrongDoes make you wonder if it is worth entering these when this sort of thing happens
