The 85mm looks very good to me, but I wouldn't say the results from your 50mm are anything to be concerned about - it looks OK to me.Here's a comparison of my Canon 50mm with the 85mm for info:

The 85/1.2L is a very fine lens, but ignoring the small DoF difference then apart from the very small difference in contrast and sharpness (which you could easily fix in PP) then I seriously doubt...
