That's what I thought too!
The hideously brightened version makes her ARMPIT the centre of attention.
The OOC Jpeg wasn't perfect but at least it was OK.
-
Yeah, that.
Some people keep harping on about wanting on-sensor PDAF for m4/3rds ...
but it's crummy right now, where's the proof it'll solve the tracking performance misery?
There are tools for...
-
?? So £260 was your budget, not £150?
Why did you bother saying £150 then?
-
Great idea, thanks for posting that ...
but POST SOME PICTURES, go on, do it.
Stimmer survived, so shall you.

I'll add my vote for a Lumix G1, G2 or G3 : they are all nice cameras, excellent EVF for manual focus, and as a bonus you get a flip-out LCD and loads of manual controls.
The olympus m4/3rds...

That lens ... didn't I get one on the front of my G1 all those years ago? ;) Half-serious.
-
Very sharp, clear, precise.
Got any from another location or showing more of the road and speed?
-
As I understand it the excellent Dynamic B&W disappeared (in it's really good form) with the G3 and subsequent bodies.
Am I right?
-
Buy it.
You use RAW so the Olympus Jpeg colours are gone anyway.
Almost everything else is improved in the GX1.
(I use olympus Jpeg colours so will not replace my e-P1 with a Panasonic, also use G1...

Heh heh, not so much of a problem in Russia.
Over here you'd be rejecting a lot more for 'artistic reasons'.
;)

The first one for me : great shadows.
-
It'll be called "Lens Priority IS" if it has it,
I know for a fact the e-pM2 & e-pL5 has that so I assume the e-M5 has it too.

This is SO true,
Moscow weddings are all about the after-wedding, the locations, buildings etc etc.
The 'registry office' can look a bit crappy so there's not much point showing those photos ......
-
Simply ... YES.
I make do with two-year-old models and my collection is growing!
-
Yes. Leica will not be in a happy position once Olympus' VF-2 starts shipping (their own EVF is a rebadged VF-2) so will have to offer their own VF-4 ... with a body to use it on.
Hopefully a Leica...
-
It would be both an upgrade and a downgrade to your e-pL1 ...
:)
Focus fast, feel good, touchscreen ... more 'effects'
:(
Lost ISO100, lost bounceableness of the pop-up flash

Number 4 actually gave me a fright.

As a valued contributor I feel overwhelmed with gratitude that they would consider me for such an honour.
I love advertising in all it's forms.

48k Speccy was awesome ... and my first computer. You could program it straight out of the box. Cost me half of £125 back in the day. What were we talking about?
-
I still own and use a G1, but if it's about tactile and shooting pleasure my advice is to try an e-P2 (read that right, e-P2, no other) with VF-2 (read that too, VF-2, no other) on the top.
Despite...
