It will be a 'fake' ISO 100 for Jpegs, : but in my book that's superb and I use it ALL THE TIME in my e-P2.
They were numbskulls to drop it in the e-pL2 and subsequent models, totally crippling...

Maybe (there might be votes for the E-3, e-410, e-510 series) ... but it has the SAME colour as the E-5, E-30, e-600, e-620, e-P1 & e-P2 and ALL of those (in my opinion) require global whitebalance...
-
Handheld in low light my e-pM1 beats my e-P1 in two ways : focus and noise.
The stabilisation is slightly better in the heavier e-P1 ...
I'm sure spending three times as much on a new generation...
-
I believe the sensor in the G3 & GX1 is newer than the sensor in the GH2 : which in some folks' world would mean the G6's sensor is NOT the newest Panasonic sensor ...
Now, back to the discussion :...

At this focal length (wide) with a sensible and pedestrian F2.8 I'm sure an OVF will do just great. Nice camera, I hope it becomes common enough to see some second-hand sales next year. yumm.
-
But you don't hack anything, you simply add some stuff.
Personally I used foam sticky tape, and someone used to sell brass rings as spacers.
Easiest thing in the world and totally reversible.
-
I think Drew's point is that with the right settings, right lighting and right model, the E1 is easy to extract decent results without further processing, despite being ancient.
Best results isn't...
-
I have the E-1 and e-410, and the e-410 is decidedly sharper : but is known to be sharper than the e-420 that came soon after it.
-
Cute face!
What did it smell like?
-
A good idea, but spoiled by the first two being lit totally unlike the rest.
Surely you could have done those two again with the later position and lighting?
Also, short focal lengths have more...
-
It's newer than the GX1, but missing an EVF-slot surely it's not as good for a lot of users?
And the GX1 is an "X", so will we see a GX2 very soon to leapfrog the GF6?
-
I'm using XP Pro with SP2, not SP3 and it installed really fast and worked fine.
Just saying.
But ... 25 seconds to process a RAW into dramatic tone Jpeg!
Mesolithic.
-
Mmmm, got it, installed it.
I wanted to see if the RAW to Jpeg output was the same as in-camera but found the EXPORT : develop & save for a dramatic tone conversion at high quality Jpeg took AGES...

Kinda, yes, BUT
I feel the superb reliability of previous Olympus Pens has skewed our expectations.
The e-M5 is the most complex Olympus yet, with more than one new and unique feature, and it IS...
-
Good work, it matches very well.
I wasn't happy with Olympus' OVF for their 17mm lens so I butchered one off the corner of my dead Yashica Electro GSN and hammered it into a piece of bronze tubing ;
-
The E-5 and the e-pL1 were the last Olympus to offer ISO100 ...
I use ISO100 in 90% of my photographs.
For my common uses the e-M5 is just too sensitive, actually twice as sensitive as my favourite...

Surely when he sold his company they got him to sign an agreement to NOT compete with them with a new business? Anyway, TWO founders (count them) with huge foreheads is a great start! I would...
-
You heard wrong.
I don't use my Olympus kit zoom because I have a better one, but it is a good lens.
-
Surely in every aspect the e-pM2 is the winner? Factor in the 14-42 kit zoom and it becomes even better.
I guess a wider sensor is good for something in the Canon, but what?
Maybe the Canon comes...
