Great camera with no BIF and EVF. NX1 is huge, so is 16-50mm f2.8-4.0 So there's nothing for me in Samsung land. And I used to be happy with my NX10...

Nothing will change unless there's some competition from outside Japan or North Korea. Calling all billionaieres to unite and....Or is it all proletariat to unite? :)

JEROME NOLAS: The sensor's DR is not good! And cameras are expensive. Not for me.

Canon S95 is a good pocket rocket, nobody cares about DR. GX7 has the same DR as most Fujis, it is compact and lightweight camera with good enough IQ. Anyway, I didn't buy Fuji because of, what I alredy wrote above. Enjoy your Fuji. I am ending this conversation.

Whatever, Canon has the worst sensor...Fuji goes from mid-tones straight to black or white. That's how I see it. If you see it the other way, it's fine with me.

Just check few pictures, maybe you just need better glasses.

JEROME NOLAS: I, actually like the winning photo. What I don't like is...there are stupid trends in photo contests. Like if you want to win a landscape one, it's better be one with coastline (Brittish preferably) In Asia you bet on pics with bulls racing through rice fields...and if you are pro, then misery of this world will get the attention. So normal photographers like me and you are screwed forever!

Three times YES! :)

Come on guys! They published that twice, so what. The kid will be happy. What bugs me more is new viewer photo...

No surprises at all? What about FF Pentax or Leica Q with the right lens? (35mm)
Eh, almost forgot Ricoh GR...

photomedium: Canon's definitely showing erratic behavior with the M10. First they launch the M3 but not in the US, then they change their mind, then a couple of months later they come up with a camera with a 2yo sensor and that does nothing new. You serious? I don't know what these guys are smoking up in the corner office.
Canon: people get emotionally attached to their camera and buy new ones MAINLY when they are promised better images (read new-bigger- better sensor).

Maybe the G5X will work if the touchscreen turns out to be good would appeal to people wanting RX100III quality images but with a have-to-have canon stamp.

You don't want to know! (what they are smoking...)

The people criticizing this work and effort sicken me.

You are absolutely right! #4 does it for me...

noflashplease: I don't have a problem with sponsored content. Samsung can sponsor events, pay professionals to make videos and give their product away for all I care. Samsung apparently did sponsor PIX2015 and did give away NX-500 cameras. That doesn't change the fact that the NX-1 and NX-500 aren't very interesting products to me. Samsung's camera line just isn't relevant to the way I live and work. It's sad that some South Korean engineers spent so much time making products that really don't matter. Hopefully they'll concentrate on their sensor division or go full frame.

Samsung needs few smart people.
