Higuel: only in a country were people does not respect the animals could they allow a drone almost hitting an eagle in a National Park!

Makes me wonder if the publishers of the contest and also dPREVIEW think it is ok to applaud all the way to first place a picture taken at the expenses of the safety and well being of a wild animal?!?
Where are the sacred rules of Animal Photography: "Thy shall not bother or threaten the animals!"???? :L

I am sure no animal was hurt or threaten during the shooting...

They really mastered the art of marketing and propaganda, if only they'd use all money in R&D instead .....

Dan Wagner: The photos are kind of 80's schticky. I think the idea is great -- if he had photos of himself in the suit walking in a crowd of people commuting to work -- but taken straightforward, or a photo at the breakfast table with his family, he in the suit with the family members dressed normally, or a wedding photo with him in the suit and the bride in gown and he's looking out a nearby window -- that kind of thing -- that to me would have taken the idea to a better place. Of the series, the shot on the playground shuttle was the one I liked best -- but he didn't need to have the shuttle touching ground -- just him sitting on the shuttle leaving the viewer to provide the story would have been enough. And before anyone goes ape on their keyboard believing there's something on the internet that needs immediate fixing -- this is just my humble opinion -- albeit one reflecting 30 years as a pro.

We all love a pro telling us what to like or not...the whole idea is being funny and creative. Remember being young and creative?
Probably not, and being "30 years as a pro" means we should take you seriously? Have a nice day pro!

hrt: Hey, DPR, when are you gonna post a review of this camera ?
I've already purchased one and love the handling of this camera (compared with the previous DP2 Merill), but I need your objective view because I'm blinded by my subjective view of this camera.

If I buy a Nikon D810 with a 50mm prime lens, I would have to pay about 3800 USD, but I can get a better resolution with the Quattro at only 1000 USD, right ?
And as I don't shoot fast moving stuff nor, under low light, things without a tripod,
This camera is really for me, right ?

Hey, do you hear me?
You are the guys standing for us consumers, right?
(or are you guys standing more for the pro's? Am I missing something here, eh?)

You already bought camera so you tell us if it's worth it...and some link to great photos you took...Right?
