This must be a meeting of Panasonic hate group, right?
That's just motion blur or bad focus guys,m relax...:)
The best looking camera of the year. But I will wait for built in flash, EVF not so important for me.
My camera can find the prettiest girl in a bar!
Where's the upload button? Confusing my friends! Why not a single link leading to...
(unknown member): And suprisingly affordable!
I ordered already!
Mike FL: Half of the price goes to the name as Leica is Leica. Other than that:
- Get any Fuji body + Fujifilm XF 23mm F1.4 If you want better sensor and better SPEC'd lens for the same sensor size and FL.
- Go for the best of the best, Sony RX1.
- Still like the Leica look, BUT not Leica price? Fuji X100T looks more liking a Leica than a real Leica.
You still want get exactly the same camera but half of the price? It is POSSIBLE if Panasonic decided to re-badge this Leica to Panasonic... Why not?
P.S.Oh, almost forget, Panasonic should be add a built in GRIP. or other people will complain/think Panasonic do NOT know how to design a camera, just like they complain/say-to Canon G7X, Sony RX100s...
Never see any one complain Leica having no DRIP. Never, ever...
So now I am mad! If not made in Germany, it's not Leica for me anymore!!!PS. So how come some people can use swear words and I can't? I am not from a "right" country, right? Isn't that racist...?
I agree with you!!!
JEROME NOLAS: Yes, corners are bit soft but this doesn't matter in real life...you can't compare it to lenses at 85mm!!! The more people hate it, the more I want it!
Not really. It's jewellery...just like a T shirt for $500 or a luxury car for $100 K.Got it? Stop complaining!

It's DSLR size, the 16-50mm lens is heavy and very expensive. What they were thinking about?
Excellent IQ, small size and built in flash. That's all what I need. In Canon's tradition there are many small quirks (battery life etc.) but I think Canon will be successul with this model. We'll see, right? :)
I am still drawn to # 2 picture. Mona Lisa after 60 years...
PhotoLouP: If this could merge with the best features of the Sony RX1 and Sigma DP2 in a sealed, tank-like body allowing for full control, then it would be really interesting. Not sure why Leica can't do that in their price ranges. If Sony could simplify and make manual better with true weather sealing, if Sigma could make a better ergonomic camera with 3rd party software that works, any of these fixed lenses might pull me away from interchangeable for most needs, especially if under $3000. Unobtanium, I know.
Buy Ricoh GR...:)
ekaton: Strange discussions here. Leicas are overpriced, we knew that. However, I strongly recommend all X113 bashers to visit Ming Thein`s blog and read his review. Unfortunately, Sean Reid has a subscriber only site, but his review confirms the findings of many other competent testers. The IQ (i.e. including file quality) the X113 produces are excellent. If there was no Sony RX1(r), the X113 would set the IQ gold standard among fixed prime lens compact cameras (the Sigma DP2 Merrill and Quattro who wipe the floor with anything Bayer under certain conditions do not come with a 35mm equivalent lens). Enough said.
We like Leicas, we just don't have enough money...:)
#2 is fantastic! The judges must be blind!
Thanks. I will buy Sony for X mas.....
RF got stuck with one design for all cameras...
