  • Commented on Canon EOS 7D Mark II Review preview

I think Nikon already killed that dream with the D750 (I think basically what the D400 could have been if it was an APSC)

  • Commented on Canon EOS 7D Mark II Review preview

I doubt that Canon engineers cannot fit a Wi-Fi module inside that FF like sized body of the 7DII

  • If it is of any help, I also played around with friend's Samyang 8mm FE and the 18mm with my K5II just 2 days ago and had the same experience. I think for such wide lenses, manual focusing is a ...
  • Commented on Canon EOS 7D Mark II Review preview

Well you can Google it, there plenty of examples since the K20D. Being someone who cannot use the camera well does not mean that the camera is not capable (cough cough)

Not all Fuji X cameras uses the X-trans

The 7DII is not really in a class of it's own. It is just barely catching up.

I'm just here for the comments

  • Replied in yes to a 23mm.
The DA21 has an FL closer to the FA31 Limited but I forgot the exact reason why the FA Limiteds had an odd FL except for the FA77 (I remember that they designed it as a 77 since it is a lucky number)
  • Replied in DA50 f1.8?
Give the DA 50mm f1.8 a chance? Small, lightweight, quick focusing, sharp, contrasty, nice bokeh, fast. If you want something better, it is either the DA70 Limited, FA77 Limited or the DA*55 f1.4 P ...
  • What are your current Pentax lenses. Do you have any Nikon lens?
  • Actually comparing ISO6400 RAW of the 7D2 and the D7100, the Toshiba sensor holds more detail, has better control of the chroma noise and also has a finer grain.

  • Looks like a pretty fair and balanced review, plus a white DA35 f2.4 would look great on that white/gray KS1. Hopefully the Camera Store TV would also review the cam.
  • Well...

*Pentax has a sophisticated AF system as well specially starting from the K5II, it just handles differently than Canikon (I sometimes shoot Canikon as well)
*The K3 has no real issues with...

  • The DA35 f2.4 and the DA50 f1.8 maybe made out of plastic but the IQ is a heavy hitter!
  • Pull the trigger, you know you want to.
  • Curiously I just did, the 7D2 and the EM5 noise looked pretty close at ISO1600 RAW at both daylight and low light simulations. The EM5 had a lot of CA though but there are some parts of the test...

  • DA 15 Limited for landscapes. The DA35 f2.4 is my walk around lens (for the K5II, no plans in upgrading to a K3). You might also like the new HD DA16-85 WR lens as an all around lens.
  • Comparing RAWs at daylight and low light even at just ISO1600 vs the K3, K50, D7100, XT1, X100T, that Canon sensor is still lagging behind especially with the chroma noise. Wished that the K5II or...

  • Comparing RAWs at daylight and low light even at just ISO800 vs the K3, K50, D7100, XT1, X100T, that Canon sensor is still lagging behind especially with the chroma noise. Wished that the K5II or...

  • If you can still get one, the vintage SMC-M 50mm f1.4 or f1.7 works quite well at they are still tack sharp after all these years at they are pretty reasonably priced. The DA 50 f1.8 is also a ...
