Lost me on 'It doesn’t transfer RAW'. I guess I'll be sticking to 'regular' SD cards.

@Abhijith Kannankavil - crop mode uses a limited area of the sensor, but does not increase the resolution artificially. Opposed to that, digital zoom usually uses the whole sensor, crops a part of...

What is this, a camera or a space ship?

Same issue here. I was a bit afraid to search about it, but hey, I now know that at least it's a somehow common problem.
Also, I read a post on flickr about this and a sensible answer in the vein...

I sense snobbery just around the corner.

I see manufacturers trying to get video into DSLRs because of this whole package being a cheaper and attractive alternative to a ton of video equipment - even the cheapest APS-C models should offer...

I'm faced with similar dilema, only that I already own the 35. It is quite sharp, but only on condition that I manage to focus it right, which is kind of tricky - from my experience, the lens'...

Watch out, we've got an entrepreneur over here. ;D

Does the D90 have control over the output power in repeating mode? If so, can the lowest setting trigger the SB-700? How fast can the SB-700 go when you reduce its output even more?

I'm kind of sorry that I didn't wait for D7100 when I bought a D7000 four months ago, but then again, the differences are not huge. Also, I tend to disagree with the hint that there will be D7000...

It has the weight of 3 or 4 prime lenses, but I suspect it may have the price of more than that number of primes.

I was hoping for some functional updates to the D7000 - if I had the 800 f/5.6, I probably wouldn't be shooting a D7000.
-
I wouldn't dare doing this to my camera, but anyway, great shot!
-
No, but I don't need one either :D

Thanks, but I'll stick with Nikon.

D90 wouldn't be bad if you have good glass for it.
-
Not that's it's bad, but nothing really shocking to drive me away from my D7000. This is just the expected update to a more-than-two year old model. I guess I'll be buying more glass, then moving...

Isn't the AF way too limited considering the lack of controls for it? I guess you have to dig in the info screen to change from AF-S to AF-C, right?
