RuthC: After receiving comments you can enter a second improved version of your first picture.
Include "second version" in the title.
DO NOT WITHDRAW THE FIRST PHOTO THOUGH. we should be able to compare them.

These are the rules as set down by the hosts....

Excuse me...but you can also consider that someone has a different language from yours...I had the same problem and i must say i didn't understand correctly the way to add a new version.
Hope that you consider that this is not a war...But a friendly place...
So please...Calm down

On Canadiens visiting Chicago in the The third dimension (depth) and chat. challenge (14 comments in total)

I use the words by Zoran K taken from a comment of the entry "the island" (surely more clear than mine)

"I think we have a misunderstanding about a third dimension (depth) . Shallow DOF is not necessarily a 3D space effect. Shallow DOF makes space separation keeping only one area in focus."

I think that this shot fits very well this challenge even if it hasn't leading lines or something like that...Good work!

On Milestones? in the The third dimension (depth) and chat. challenge (13 comments in total)

I think that you could crop it from the left near the first tombstone. This is a great example for this thematic but honestly i find it not too creative...
P.S. don't forget to replace it with the longest side of the picture between 1000 and 1600 pixels ;) ...I'm joking :)

Nothing to say about the composition and the effect you obtained.Anyway I think that this shot can benefit with an higher contrast

Personally I find that the composition is too busy...However It matches the subject of the challenge.

It's surely an interesting shot...It's strange and delivers a good idea...But perhaps it could be more pleasent if the plane was empty.

I'm a little bit confused about the subject...Perhaps it could work better if the fort were not in focus.

This image perfectly matches the challenge...Obviously it can be cropped in a lot of ways but it's a detail for me...Everyone has a personal opinion about composition...the result is more than evident here!Good work!
