Jan2009: Hi, I think I know what you meant by "exactly" 50mm but to be clear if I do not have a full frame camera and I use an APS-C camera (7D) with my 50mm 1.8 this means my actual focal length is 80mm (50mm x 1.6 crop factor). Therefore my entry is not valid right?
Thanks for clarifying. Sorry if you have to spell it very clear for me.
I think that the Host was clear enough...In fact he specified "actual focal length, not 35mm equivalent"...So your 50mm is perfect, but it would be perfect even if mounted on a full frame camera :)If you look at exif data, they say "50mm and not 80" ;)
Thanks a lot dear friend :)But,first of all,I've to thank my girlfriend for her endurance :)
There are some great photos here :)Many compliments to the Autors!...And "BRAVO!" to Slynky...You have managed the first challenge (as an Host) with great expertise!...It's a pity I haven't got any suitable photo :(
Stoppies and jumps are not wheelies! :)
Pazzesco!...Quando l'ho vista anche in thumb ho detto...Questa è italiana! :DA parte le bizzarrie della nostra segnaletica,è bellissima!Complimenti!
Apart one or two, every images carry have the title...Your rule "No title or border on image."
MC Rossi: Sorry guys, I didn't get, please help me understand what puts this shot at a first place
Nothing but a lot of "friendly" votes! :)
Dear friend, you don't know how many times this happens even to me at office! :DGreat shot!
"No watermarks, date/time nor other identification marks."
Dear Host,I see a lot of entries in which the "out of focus" doesn't seem nor a landscape nor a cityscape. What about informing the involved participants?
This is a masterpiece! :D...That series of 5 shows how a good photographer you are! :DCongratulations! :D
Beautifull image!...That series of 1 show perfectly that there's a lot of miserable voters!I'm happy you won anyway :)
Dear friends i think our Host simply want photos with Human eye as the subjec. In addition you have to take them with the camera lens reverse mounted. You have to buy an additional ring :)See this for example
...Honestly i can't remember...If i used a filter is the only one i have(b+w nd 0.6)...But the shutter speed and the aperture suggest i didn't used it :)...Surely for images like this one,i'm used to blend at least two different exposures from the raw file...Forgive my scanty explanation but it's been too long...However thanks a lot!
Oh my God...You've been overtaken by that fly....zzzzzzzzzzzz.... :)...I'm glad i can joke with people like you!Dear friend...I love this photo!Great work!
