Are you comparing the focus system from the Nikon D90 with the one from RX100?That's not a fair thing to do: no P&S can even come close to any DSLR when it comes to focus.

Nice pictures - I have the same phone and love it.It has a pretty good camera and a really good camcorder.Bottom line: the best camera is the one from your pocket and not the $2000 one from home.
