Martin Implies that keywording in Lightroom gives makes it easy to find an image and that it would be difficult to find an image in a folder based system like Adobe Bridge. If you do the same keywording in Bridge as he suggests you do in Lightroom, then you have the same ability to find images quickly. In addition all changes are in the image file, should you decide to use that file in another application like Pro Show Producer.Personally the extra work in Lightroom of importing , exporting, catalog management and maintaining compatibility of files for use with Bridge and Photoshop is work I can do without. But everyone should choose what they like to work with the best.
I think this will be a good lens, like the other f4 Nikon lenses, But I think Nikon made a mistake by making the tripod foot and ring and option for $200 more. That will make a few people think twice before going for it
The review makes it sound like the D800 doesn't autofocus very well.If it can,t offer tack sharp focus what good is it?I am referring to the comment about only a couple of shots in the portrait shoot had sharp eyes.I hope the D800 focuses better than he suggests. I would not want to manually focus all my shots.
