  • A waist of time and of good will.

  • Like the tools in my toolbox, I use the right camera for the job, be it Smartphone, Nikon1, or Nikon FX.
    This survey is incomplete.

  • 1 - I would love a firmware upgrade that allows all points focus on FT1. Then I could use any of my lenses on the V2. 2 - I would also like an FT2 with VR included 3 - More fast primes or fast zooms ...
  • I agree with you on DXO tests. What matter are the photos people make with the Nikon 1. By the way it would be fun to see DXO make a full comparison test of their software and Lightroom. Which one ...

    Hi HowaboutRAW,
    Thanks for your answer.
My original message was meant for Nikon, because the continuous small upgrades, do not justify the cost of upgrading.
I am in fact looking for silent camera...

    Hi HowaboutRAW,

    As I said I own D3s, D800 and V2
D4 is better then D3s, but not worth the cost of upgrade.
D810, on paper slightly better then D800. But please try to use it with lenses faster the...

    Message to Nikon!!!
Do you Nikon think your users are mentally retarded?
D4/D4s are only a little bit better then D3s
D810 is only a little bit better then D800
V3 is not an upgrade from V2

    Is...

  • Yesssss, great upgrade. never used the others again. Its so versatile, and with extension tubes an amazing macro solution
  • Yessssss. You have much more control over the camera setting. But if you use auto all the time stay with the v1 V3, is over priced, many problems with the additional EVF, I will wait for the V3, or ...
  • I disagree. Nikon does not listen to us at all. 3 models, 3 batteries, 3 chargers, option EVF, no standart hot shoe, no multipoint AFS with FT1, always forcing us to buy a 10-30 with new camera.
  • You can use in manual mode, if you use the built in flash to trigger the other flashes. I do this for studio work.
  • Well done Sony!!!
This is the way to go: smaller lighter camera, better ISO, less Mpixs
Now I just need quiet shutter and smaller lighter pro lens.
Please make a version of this with 1" sensor and...

  • Hi MJW1 I missed your irony, sorry. Yes many people say bad things about Nikon 1, I love then and have unique features for my work: - Perfect fast focus, only pro bodies are better - Amazing speed ...
  • Hi Jean I love criticism, is the only way to improve. I only complained about the request to remove my photo from the forum. I love Nikon 1 V2, but Nikon is not listening to customer which is a shame.
  • Hi MJW1, Please don't be so quick to judge me and request removal of my post. This is a real photo made with Nikon 1 v2, the post you read before is obviously wrong. It is very easy to setup the V2 ...
  • Hi all Nice to see that Nikon 1 users are taking lots of photos. This one is with V2, 10-100VR, sbn5. SB-N5 was used to trigger studio flash. Studio shot, 1 flash on large umbrela from front/above, ...
  • This is an amazing camera, it is all that D4 should have been from the start,

    BUT

    No Wi-Fi
    No Dual CF cards
    No 4K video

I will keep my D3s, until D5 or D6 has these features

  • Hi Sgoldswo I agree with you. On D800 I use wifi card to send to small jpg to ipad mini retina, to evaluate photos during sessions. Nef go on CF card for post processing in Desktop You just need ...
