I send my GH3 for repair and it took about 2 months in NZ (for the HDMI port which was ripped when the monitor fell), lucky I got 2 GH3 at that time.
On Olympus it is usually 1~3 weeks for repair,...

I am fine with low end model not getting PDAF (so does Sony, Fuji etc), but I think they should put it in their $1000 model OMD and E-P series.

For the price of around $10,000 it is really a special lens!

For best bang for bokeh I really recommend Rokinon 85mm F1.4, for AF the 45mm F1.8 is also good value for money, but the bokeh won't be as nice as 75mm F1.8 or 85mm F1.4
E-P5 + 45mm F1.8
GH3 +...

I think 12-40mm could be a good choice if you are shooting kids.

Depends, there are some people here that ditched FF completely after using M43, some still use both of them.
For video E-M1 give you stabilized video using those wonderful primes, can't do that...

shutter shock problems relate to the shutter design of the camera, some cameras are more prone to have it then others, usually bigger camera like GH and OMD/E-P don't have this problem.

Video - Mat from MirrorLessons
Definitely a bit more bigger than 35-100mm.

Another option would be using Tokina 11-18mm F2.8 and Speedbooster, which give you 7.8-12.8 F2.0 on M43 machine

At higher ISO (6400 and up) E-M1 pulls away from E-M5, especially at ISO 25600 the difference is day and night.

Beside that ridiculous GX7 + 14-42 which is the same price as E-P5 + VF4+ 17mm F1.8 in NZD
GH3 + 14-140mm is similar price to E-M1 + 12-40 in NZ as well
That should tell you how bloody rip off...

http://www.pekkapotka.com/journal/2013/9/19/more-on-c-af-with-olympus-e-m1.html
That look more impressive than dpreview's test (since pekka uses 75mm 1.8 instead of 60mm 2.8 macro which have much...

I had bought a GH2 with 98000 shutter count from a fellow travel photographer.. it still going strong atm lol
With GH3 you can just use electronic shutter for time-lapse anyway.

I used to have FL-300R, but found it is a bit limiting for me (No FP, can't tilt, not powerful enough) so I got FL-36R instead.
For Power FL-300R is definitely an improvement over onboard flash for...
