I think the sun if to far to the left in the first image. However, really like the composition of the last image.

Or something in between? I am playing around with this image. Personally, I really like both looks, but if I had to choose I probably would go with the more grainier look. C&C is welcome

I took this macro image during a mountain trip with some friends. Its taken of drops on the Common juniper during the morning. I took several images but this had the best sharpness and composition....

Thanks for the feedback and suggestions. I did soften the image (reduce the clarity) to get a softer look and to reduce the contrast in the water. Here is what it looks with just increased clarity....

I would love a D400 when and if it comes out, but I am gonna stick with my D300s and rather invest in better glass before a new body.
