Thanks i will try next time. After i made this I also plan on shooting more pictures for a smoother video. The only problem i have is that the STF has chromatic aberrations when the contrast...

My oh my aren't we demanding. Portraits have to wait till spring or summer time and when my friend is back from Italy, btw she does modelling job so she wouldn't mind. I only made a picture of my...
-
Didn't really need to use the STF lens but at this focal length i didn't had a better lens. In the Netherlands there is a broadcast tower of 367 meters which they decorate with lights and claim to...

Thank you lightshow it helped. First i thought i always had to correct it with pp, of course with the picture which matters.
-
Didn't know the camera can map it thanks. I thought my NEX-5 sensor was dieing on me.
-
And there is probably nothing i can do about it huh?uh maybe i should have cropped it abit more :S but u can see it on the full resolution which isn't big.
-
There is actually a third group. I didn't had any camera before. I heard about the NEX and was finally happy about a small camera with almost all manual control.

For me the combination of that high price, the tad softness wide open and the fact that i don't need it just yet makes it for me that it isn't worth it. But hey i can sense you really need it for...
-
I understand your point of view you want a fast WA lens which is also sharp with autofocus. I have the same problem, but I am a very patient person and will wait for the 32F18 from zeiss for the...

I can get a 2nd hand as well here in Holland for that price but just for 50 more and you can have a brand new one from that store above my post. A rather bad deal i think. But still i think the...

True if you have exposure lock and a complete filling grey card. But i want to correct it afterwards and than you can correct white balance.
-
In some situations i forget my grey card but i always have an extra emount lens with me with that grey lenscap. So i thought maybe i can use that to correct white balance?
-
Ohno i get ur point i already said that but u r also saying that the sal35f14 is a viable option. If that lens was discounted with even 75% i wouldn't want it. U could also just answered my question.
-
ok but be honest as well about that SAL35F14 do u really want that lens on ur NEX system. It is one hell of a stinker of a lens. Or am i wrong
-
Very true what u said, i will ignore the way u said it tho. I just wanted to say that people will go for another system than NEX. And because of the emount these people can lgo for any brand.
-
Which focal length are you searching for?For me .... I wish Sony would develop a 35F14. Even better a 35F12. Whatever people say the 1.4 is just for a different purpose than a 1.8 and that's the...
-
I don't know because I don't have one but my educated guess would be yes. 35mm would be (full frame equivalent) 52/53 mm which is "almost" what our field of view is with our eyes. We have to see if...
-
True but a wider lens will get you less blurry pictures with lower shutterspeed. That's why i think the Zeiss would be better next to the fact the Zeiss is a better indoor lens.
-
It was quit dark inside but if you use a reasonably fast prime like the SEL50F18 wide open you don't have to use the flash. Even bouncing the flash on the wall and/or ceiling gives a different view...
