I do not see the point in this, nobody here had the joy of using all these cameras, so how can we judge the one that stands out, we all know that we will vote for the name brand that we are a fan-boy of and it's got nothing to do with being the best camera

Samsung is just as bad as foxconn, who are you kidding? and Samsung lenses as good as Canon, Nikon and Fuji? what kind of crack are you on?...please... maybe the lenses that are made in China....LOL

Who even know where Samsung sit on the ladder of photography maybe dead last?
Last I had a look I think their market share was about 1% only like 120 000 NX cameras sold, weak just like their cameras.

The last thing close to Minolta was the a900, this is all Sony and Minolta died a horable death along with their hotshoe
Sony, mark my words...this camera will tank for obvious reasons you are so blind to see.
1. EVF on a FF are you kidding me?
2. $200 less than the Nikon D800 and $700 more than the Nikon D600
3. EVF EVF EVF EVF / SLT SLT SLT SLT = JUNK
How to fix this little mistake Sony
1. Junk the EVF and use the OVF from the a900
2.Drop the price to $2000
3. Make a DSLR and drop the SLT junk.

If you think I have not used or own a camera with a EVF you are wrong.
I have and still use a Sony a700, a900 and own a NEX-7 and when it comes to an APS-C viewfinder I will say the NEX-7 is as good or even better, but I do not see the benefit of it on a FF a99, when compared to the a900 OVF sorry.
When the Nikon D800 is only $200 more compared to the a99, guess which one anybody will pick when compared side by side, all they will have to do is put their eye on the viewfinder and I am willing to bet money that extra $200 will not even make a difference and they will be walking out with the Nikon everytime.
And if you like the histogram so much there is no reason Sony can't have that displayed on the OVF

DumbCams as in dump all the crap apps on it that makes everyone's picture look exactly the same.
They are just as stupid as people using iPad's for cameras.

And that is why the Sony NEX is the top selling mirrorless system in Korea? and with the Sony and Fuji line now just getting new updated lenses from Zeiss, Samsung does not have any edge with lenses sorry, they don't even have any PZ lenses

All the EVF fans here has more than likely never owned a Professional camera with a full 100 % OVF and if you need exposure preview and focus peaking you are not a real photographer, learn to use your equipment, hey Ventur there are millions of sport pictures taken all over the world by professional sport photographers and not one needs or use EVF and other Sony gimmicky junk BTW the Closes thing Sony ever made to a Pro level Camera is and was still the A900 with a nice OVF.

Remember when Fuji & Leica were partners when Fuji had there Finepix 4700, and the Leica had the Digilux it was a Fuji electronics inside, Leica never made the model just the lens, and more people were buying the Fuji 4700 more than the Leica. So I say that since its been about 43 years since 1969 and Hasselblad went to the Moon, SONY Did not. Hassleblad was may for traditional Photography even their H series. Not Calling their Camera Lunar model... It's a SONY.. And for the record I still have the Fuji Finepix 4700 and still using it & it is NOT a 2.0pixel but a 4.0 Pixel..
You should buy the new Fuji it's a SONY

There is a rumor Sony will be releasing a new NEX 6 with WiFi and it will be opensource for apps, not sure if it's just a rumor but since there is a lot of people hacking the NEX and SLT cameras maybe it's a good thing.
This is why art is dead, where is the art in this?
