The depth compression effects will be completely different.

Not all.
About half of the wedding photo's were taken by my daughter (the B&W ones are mine) , and obviously the photo's of me were taken by someone else.

600mm effective focal lenght (35mm Field of View) is a lot of lens to hand hold.
