Sure, if you wait long enough, there's bound to be some sort of technological breakthrough!
Wonder as to when we can expect an in-depth review of the D810. Afterall the preview was in July and it is now... October! There was a time that DPReview "shined" in this respect. Just an observation...
Good initiative, Nikon!
Not so difficult to see that it concerns a Great White shark. Photos taken in South African Waters? Nice series!
The best results I've seen so far come from the Phanthom 2 Vision+Truly excellent & highly recommended!
The possibility of a prosumer DX camera being launched is preventing me from deciding to buy the D810. Just wish Nikon would at least inform us in respect of their DX-strategy!We D300/s owners have been waiting now for such a long time...
Where are the long expected optics???

Cheers - Herman
A typical Nikon response... Nikon, for heavens sake please review your marketing & PR practises! Communication to your past and present loyal customer base is dismal to say the least!
Still no Prosumer D400 DX! Nikon have you been listening to your market???Still no AF-S 300VR nano-coated f/4G!!!
Both products long overdue...
Nice of you to launch the D610 BUT I'm still awaiting the D400 prosumer DX!
Lens prices are really becoming absurd!
Lens pricing seems to be going through the roof!
Seems Nikon's pricing strategy is way off the mark!Guess, time will tell...
That's a wonderful achievement for Nikon!
Guess it's a good opportunity now to launch that long overdue D400 DX Prosumer camera... You're bound to make a lot of folks very happy!
Thank you, Nikon and I wish everyone best wishes for 2013!
Remember the ugly duckling that turned into a swan?!
How could the interviewer not ask about the D400 DX that so many of us are waiting for? Lack of interest in respresenting this website's Nikon client base? Am certainly not amused DPReview!
With so many folks eagerly awaiting the D300 / D300s DX upgrade, I am very surprised that the interviewer made no mention of the D400.
Wonderful photos and an excellent article. Thank you.I did a similar trip a few years back and I certaily intend to return to this "Paradise for Landscape Photographers"!
Leica seems to have a wonderful imagination when it comes to pricing their products!
VivaLasVegas: Holy smokes.....a built-in wifi+GPS tagging that is accessible via cellphones. Damn this is sooo futuristic! D600 can tooo, but it'll COST you $$$$ and it's stuffing is hanging out of its body like x-mas lights......just ugly.
6D=Apple lookD600=Android look
Admit it, the Nikon D600 has better specs!
