Yanko Kitanov: The places are interesting and spooky, but the heavy HDR ruined many of them unfortunately.

I hate HDR, especially for this kind of shooting.

And for Matrix they used film cameras.

Sorry, SLR film cameras

Marty4650: Why is Hasselblad embarrassing themselves this way? Even Leica doesn't have the nerve to re-badge a Panasonic camera and sell it for five times as much. They only slap on a 50% premium for the red dot, which starts to look reasonable compared to a $6500 Sony NEX 7.

Don't they realize people are laughing at them?

Laugh is good for our health, let them do their thing...

You will know who to blame for losing a shot or even sue him or her for losing millions from a potential photo, from a mobile phone...

thomash2: I'm annoyed with devices without replacable batteries. I have a HTC desire phone which I use for gps tracking over several days and need a couple other batteries to get me through the days. newer HTC phones do not have replacable batteries and other products are going the same way.
I had a laptop battery died once but it was easy and cheap to buy a replacement. I wouldn't buy a laptop where i couldn't replace the battery myself. I wouldn't want to have to spend an extra $100 for someone else to do it for me if the laptop had to be disassembled for a custom installed battery.

Sad Joe: Another nail in the coffin of 'real cameras' - smart phone devices will kill off DSLR's just as digital killed off film - only a matter of time.

Companies like Sony will invest massive amounts of monies as items like the IPad, IPhone as its where the money is...

A Canon branded camera phone anyone ?

I would love to see you shoot a wedding with your smart phone

The 5th photo from the end, the one that shows the STS-131/Exp 23 crew, says Nikon D3s, ISO 200, 1/60, f2.8 – (4) SB-800 strobes

does he mean that he used 4 SB-800? If that's the case, he could have used only 1 flash to achieve flash shadow below the ears.

you trust Canon? Canon manages to fail many times especially with high end bodies.

As much I would like for 35mm size sensor to reach the medium format, after seeing this first samples I just know is NOT possible. 24 MP seems to be the limit for 35mm sensors if not less.

But the best pictures will be without the AA.

Mssimo: How good would a 5MP sensor be with todays technology?

18Mp is quite crazy for a ultra compact. I wonder how large the images are. (13-18MB?)

bigger default compression
