Even a D300 type body would be unbalanced when mounted with a70-300 f2.8 lens, if ever there's one.

And yes, I'll be upgrading to the 7100. It would be great with my 11-16 tokina with its 24 mp non-AA sensor for my type of photography. Sorry for the OT above.

Hi, I've discarded dedicated noise remover softwares for cleaning up files after I had the CS5 installed. Its ACR color and luminance sliders work wonders as compared to the CS4. FYI.

I second the Tamron 17-50 f2.8. The non-VC is better than the stabilized one though in sharpness.

The Tokina 11-16 is very good UWA. Well it could use a longer range, but to have an f2.8 for environmental portraiture is quite unique among ultra wide lenses.
