In reply to:

ennemkay: the lx and xz cameras have the same sensor and much better lenses. and the rx100 has a much better sensor and lens and similar pocketability. if it's priced more than $299 why would anyone but canon devotees buy an s110?

None of those cameras are as small as S110. If you want pocketability and quality you go with Canon.

The best bridge camera in my opinion. Price will soon fall, and we we'll have a DSLR sensor in a compact body, with the ergonomy and quality processing of Canon.
And here's Canon, slowly but surely stepping up in the hybrid camera category.
I toast to that!

Smaller than anything till now, 24mm with f2 => best thing yet. Can't wait to have it.

Better than what lx5 and g12 can offer, but s95 is still the pocket wonder. And s100 is on the way.

Of course it's dropped from the top. You can see the finger mark on the ball right in the picture. But the picture it's great nonetheless, and thumbs up for the ideea. I guess you used the 7 fps of the NEX, am I right?

Nikon and Canon cheek to cheek. That's a wonderful site!
