I took a look at your pictures and now I know why this pancake lens is cheaper than the Voigtlander. I think your iPhone does the trick much better (look at the first picture).
-
Nice pictures. Is there a special reason why you used such small apertures (11, 16, 18) and relative long exposure times?

Change brands??? You can't even change lenses.

Thanks Gerald for the explanation, clear to me. It's true that the X-Pro 1 handles the high ISO very well. Personally I would tend to lower ISO and/or wider aperture to avoid diffraction.
-
Why do you choose that high ISO? For example: #2 in the first serie 1/1100s at f16 and ISO 800. #2 in the second serie 1/500s at f8 and ISO 800 and the last picture in the second serie 1/500s at...

From the DPR preview:
"The top and front plates are made from magnesium alloy, and the top dials machined from metal, but a slight step-down in construction sees the back plate made from plastic....

Thanks for your answer. I think it's time now to leave the reviews and take a look at a real world camera in the shop.
-
Thanks for your impressions and nice pictures. I am considering the same change from Rebel to X-E1 and you took away some doubts. How did you experience the change from optical viewfinder to EVF?
-
Why does DPR miss the articulated screen only on the G15 and not on the other cameras? Only the FZ200 has an articulated screen and that is not considered a compact camera, according to a lot of...

Shame on me, here is a picture that shows the truth:

The first film OM-1 was the smallest of the OM series and in that time the smallest film SLR. Dimensions were 136x83x81mm.
Dimensions of the OM-D are 122x89x43mm. So it's 14mm smaller, only 6mm...

Read the manual and if that does not help, what do you want and what did you do?
-
It doesn't look like a rangefinder at all. Typical for the appearance of a rangefinder is the optical viewfinder and the second window to create the double image in the viewfinder that is used to...
-
The specs say: rangefinder-style and some of the comments also talk about the rangefinder look. A rangefinder camera has an optical system that helps to focus manually. The Pen has nothing of a...

Not sure if the G15 works the same way as my G10, but according to the G10 and the manual of the G15 it works like this: set file numbering to Continuous and set Make folder to Off.
-
As always in the manuals for G cameras you will find at the end of the manual a table with the possibilities in different settings. There you will find that in Auto some settings are not available...
-
The concept of a rangefinder is an optical system to help you focus manual. Fuji X-Pro has nothing to do with that concept, so what are you trying to tell?
-
All pictures are shot with the lens wide open (f/2.8). Most lense perform better with the aperture one or two stops closed. The wide aperture also causes a shallow depth of field, as you can see...

Posting some example pics will certainly help to understand your problem. And yes, i think that in-camera correction of the JPG is a factor in this.

Maybe this page can help.
