Opinion: Most compact digital cameras are now shaped like a bar of soap and you can only use the LCD to view your subject. I was able to get mine in mint condition on Ebay for $56.00 with it's original box a few memory cards. I agree that Smartmedia cards can be expensive but if you can get them cheap if you can get them at auction prices on Ebay. This camera's F 1.8 lens is perfect for available light "holiday" shots. 4 MP is more than enough for pics up to 11X14 ( and my Pentax 12.4 MP is ) gets blown away by this now outdated camera. If you can find one for $200 or less on Ebay in "like new" condition...grab it quick, it's worth every cent

Opinion: I have had the KX for almost a year now and I can say after owning a Pentax 200d,this camera has it all!!! I love the High ISO/Low Noise pictures I am getting with it. The white "Stormtrooper" model I have,has people stopping me and wanting one :) Have not used the movie mode much but it's nice to know it;s there in a pinch
t. Buying used lenses on Ebay at cheap prices at cheap prices make this camera a "no brainer"

Opinion: Got this camera off Ebay a few days ago with a 128 and 64mb card for $34.00!! The "YAWN" EVF viewfinder is dark but you just aim your shot and shoot,sample and re-adjust if needed, your not wasting film LOL Don't really know if it was worth the price $399 when itb came out but this camera will be a nice back up to my new Pentax DSLR.

Opinion: My Olympus C 2100 just arrived from an Ebay seller who sold it to me for only $135 in mint condition with five 64mb Smartmedia cards and a UV filter, nowadays it may seem like a lot of money for a 2MP camera even with it's 10X zoom and obsolete memory system but I love it's still futuristic design and it's "ahead of it's time" technology like an electronic viewfinder and image stablization,things we take for granted today in digital cameras. Would love to hear from other owners who bought the cam after 2005 and if they still love it. I'm sure it was worth it's $1000 price tag back in 2000. Will be a nice back up to my new Pentax k200d DSLR

Opinion: Just got this camera off Ebay for only $20.00 and that included a 64MB card. The cards alone are selling at a premium price, so I might part with this camera and resell ir using better marketing techniques and make a big profit.So far it's been good to make spare money :) But I might keep this camera as it seesms to do well even though it's over 8 years old.
