I was wrong. ICE (see below) also does TIFF. Best thing: it is free.

Hmmmh. I like the concept but I think there may be better ways to stitch than PS. Here's an MS Labs tool called ICE. It works with JPGs but the results are very good.

Thoughts?

I am probably not enlightened yet so excuse my beginner's question:
aside from a Leica being a great quality camera what is the point of a B&W sensor? Would I not be off eqaully well by taking color RAW shots and then use great tools like Silver Efex able to do everything I would ever want on the B&W front?
(I understand why B&W RAW is better than B&W JPG :-))

Element42: Dumb question to the other owners of the Fuji X10...
Is there any way to get RAW files when using the EXR mode or is that a contradiction it itself since the camera computes EXR output from "triangulating" the RAW data?
Thx for enlightening me.

Thanks folks. Appreciate your answers.
The camera gives the answer itself. When in EXR mode, it seems that RAW can not be activated (for good reason since the camera does the RAW conversion). However I wonder whether in 6MP mode I automatically benefit from the EXR technology. In let's say the M mode I can activate RAW capture and so I would hope what the RAW file gives me is the benefits from lower noise and higher dynamic range.
I will post to the Fuji forum as well.
