Why would anyone vote for cameras with no viewfinders? They're the worst possible cameras, especially in bright sun.
MarioSS: Very cold and windy landscape. I like it!
Thanks. I appreciate the comment.
fotografije: Where is the spider?
Looking for an umbrella?
pleytime: Maple Leaf? Yet so many leaves in so many images.
This challenge is to show a photograph of 'a maple leaf'.'A maple leaf' being the operative words.
Maple Leaf? Yet so many leaves in so many images.
While I like the challenge format, I think you should encourage participants to group their images into 1. This would make the challenge more of a 'challenge'?
Jack Simpson: Cracking shot :)
What do you mean by 'digital camera which announced before 2005'? Image taken before 2005, or camera produced before 2005? I have images from 2005, taken with a camera that I bought before 2005.
Suggestion. If people combine the photos into one panorama style canvas, it would be easier to vote. Then again, there would just be one vote for each entry.
Cavalier King Charles GPS.
I've never liked the regular camera straps, so I bought a Black Rapid wrist strap. $18.95. $29.95 with the FR-3 connector (for attaching to the bottom of the camera). I don't need the connector, as I attach the strap directly to the regular connectors on my OMD. I much prefer it to the over the shoulder straps.
pleytime: Why would anyone buy a camera, other than a cheap pocket one, without a viewfinder?
OK. ; )
I have on OM-D E-5, which I love, and XZ-1 with attaching viewfinder. Photographing without a viewfinder sucks in bright sunlight.

Seeing some of the images, I agree with Dickerson as to the emphasis on a boat, rather than the village.
Dickerson: Just scored the entries to this challenge. This one is OK but I was supprised just how many of the entries lacked .. well .. a village in the scene. Some were obviously taken FROM villages but were not OF the village. Many had a boat or boats, fish, fishermen etc as the main subject and not A village. Because of this, and I feel mean, this is probably the lowest set of scores I have ever awarded.
Duh, what happens in a 'fishing village'? Fishing perhaps? So fishing boats would be an integral part of the scene. Otherwise it would just be houses by the water.
Tried a private message but was DQ'd (not allowed). ; )o
I have several seen other entries without the 'proper' title. Have they also been notified and DQ'd?
pleytime: The Rapid Black strap seems much better than this one. It's more flexible and you don't have to wriggle your hand into it as you would have to with this and other camera straps. I have the Rapid Black attached at the side of my OM-D5 instead of at the tripod connector.
The screw mount is a separate piece. I just clipped the strap onto the clip for the regular camera strap. Works like a charm. Or, attach one of those round keyring things to the cameras strap clip on the side and then the Black Rapid (my mistake above) can be attached to that. It's very secure. I do have a pic of it.
