Olympus's execution of Mysets is a joke. It is so unnecessarily over complicated that, at least for me, the feature is almost useless. Too bad, because it is such a useful feature that is well...

Thanks so much for the link/photo. Very helpful.

I wonder if someone who has the 35-100 and an OM-D might be kind enough to post a snapshot of the lens mounted on that camera. Curious about size, handling, balance, etc. I currently have the Oly...

Thank you so much! I've been contemplating my next lens purchase. Thinking about the 45mm 1.8 or the Panny Lumix 35-100. On one hand I'm somewhat reluctant to invest more money in a system I'm...

You think the 45mm would focus that much faster than the 75mm? Interesting. And the 40-150? What about the 14-150 Olympus? And yes, I gave up on C-AF. In fact, I even had to disable face detection...

Yes. I am saying the the lens doesn't get much respect, but that it is a really decent lens. It's slow, but if you're shooting in ample light the IQ is great. It's a versatile range of focal...

You are so right. I am having a bear of a time trying to get some decent action shots. Tried Sport mode, cranking up ISO so I could use greater depth of field... No joy so far, and very frustrating.

My dog, the brown one (above) definitely recognizes the camera and is not very fond of it. You're right: even though he ends up being the subject, in his eyes it takes attention away from him. Funny.

I had been using the 14-150, which I believe to be vastly underrated. The speed, resolution and focal length of the 75 1.8 seems to be about perfect for shooting pets. The truth is that the lens is...

Every time I go out shooting with my OM-D, regardless of the intended subject matter, my dog seems to steal the show. I've probably taken 1,000 pictures of my Lab. While I have yet to capture the...

I think Lenshoarder may be right. After having the NEX-7 repaired, I soon noticed the same thing starting to happen on my RX100. Sent it off to Laredo and they repaired it under warranty. I guess...

In all the conversations about lens choices taking place in these forums, the 14-150 gets no respect. I'm glad I didn't read up on it until AFTER I bought it, because I am having a very good...

I had a similar dilemma and came up with the opposite conclusion. Different priorities I suppose. I loved the X-E1 out of camera jpeg's, and I loved the Fuji 35mm prime and 18-55mm kit zoom. The...

I agree with the O.P. Using the grip makes all the difference in the world. I was hoping to just get used to the OM-D without the grip, but it's just a bit too tiny. Adding the grip makes it just...

You're tripping the eye sensor, probably with your belly, which is why it only happens when you hold the camera at a particular angle. Same happened to me and it drove me nuts. Now I just hold the...

Had an X-E1. Liked it a lot. Loved the kit zoom, and loved the 35mm. Out of camera jpeg's were phenomenal. Lack of face detection and scene modes was mildly annoying. Ditto lack of Program Shift....

Sorry, but with all due respect I disagree. I don't hear any such noise from Oly 17mm or Oly 14-150 on the same (E-M5) camera body. Nor have I heard such a noise on any other lens/body. In fact,...

Has there been any resolution of this issue? Brand new OM-D E-M5 and PanaLeica 25mm. Chatter is very noticeable and very annoying. (IQ is amazing.)

Yeah, the NEX has some impressive specs. It's a really cool camera, I had one for a while. Selection of native lenses killed it for me though, and they're still way behind m4/3.
