I only wish! Started looking for Route 66 file, nada. Had a blue screen crash 18 months ago, lots thenĀ I guess. Sometimes you just can't win! Lots of other worse things can happen, so life goes on.

Mark, thanks for the feedback, helpful.

Bill, super set, thanks for posting. Brings back lots of memories. Did this trip several years ago to hook up with my better half in Colorado. I'll dig out and post some shots, can't remember if...

A friend has been doing B&W shots, extreriors, in very high contrast situations, super bright sun light and very dark shadows. Lots of noise at 100%, any fix for this?

Unreal that this thread still has legs, why?

Not sure why this matters. With the NEX and kit lens you've lost ground.

Too bad, not quite that simple, I would guess Sigma owns the sensor IP but not absolutely positive. Originally, and still is, produced by National Semiconductor which is now part of Texas...

Terrific set of a great place to shoot, nicely done. Brings back lots of memories, when we lived in CA we celebrated our Thanksgivings with a group of friends at the Ahwahnee. A terrific time to...

Another approach with SnapseedĀ
Took a shot at your shot with SS, not bad for free SW. Too bad Nik pulled, generally does a nice job.

Very nice set, the night shot (last) is great. You're right, a go everywhere do it all wonder. Thanks for posting.

Simple solution, Sony String Wrist Strap. Works, dose everything right and doesn't ever get in the way. Have used these or similiar straps for years. Simple is always...

Really nice set, sharp and terrific definition and color. The third shot is exceptional! Nicely done. Why do they cut leaves?

For me it's no and no. Not needed if LCD is set to the bright sun light setting and why screw up an expensive, great camera with super glue!

Thanks guys, our furry friends fun and sometimes challenging to shoot. Pepper is at an age where the camera looks like a new chew toy. Among may things not to be left on low tables.

Couldn't resist, at seven months almost never sits still. Her Mom's a Border Collie and Dad's a Lab (we think). Shot in shadows with very bright sun at edges, RX100 did a great job.

Wow, terrific videos! Must take the patience of Job to get this kind of material. A minor point, Eagles and Ospreys are both raptors, only cousins, not brothers. Would guess both would be p----d...

Welcome to the RX100 flock. The more you use it the more you will love it. Really an amazing little camera. Enjoy!
