BS. The toy camera people just keep posting here. Are they that stupid that they don't know the difference between the forums? What a crock.
-
Read the description for this forum:"the place to discuss Olympus E series digital SLR cameras and lenses (Micro Four Thirds models should be discussed on the Micro Four Thirds Talk forum)"
-
There was nothing "bitter or abusive" in my comment. This is the DSLR forum not the small camera forum. I consider these too small for me as I have large hands and besides that, they have their own...
-
+1 on keeping the "toy" cameras in their own forum.
-
Here's a fact for ya. I wouldn't have posted that photo and claimed that it contained detail. 'nough said.
-
To start with, you quoted the wrong person. Two things make a bad photo, bad camera or lens or bad technique. Your photo suffers from the latter. Quit making excuses.
-
I looked through the manual and didn't see anything referring to an option to turn the viewfinder info off. May need to be sent in for repair.
-
Why don't you "get real" Erik. The E-5 is not a crappy camera, but that photo sure is. You must be blind or delusional. There is not one thing in that photo that is sharp and it does look smeared....
-
What software was used for the post processing?
-
For one, I'll believe it when I see it, not till then.
-
And you believe all this? It's just rumors for crying out loud. Or, maybe that's what you thrive on.
-
It's quite obvious your post processing skills are on par with your photographic prowess'.

"Get ready for disappointment, and then save up a bit more for some m4/3 lenses."You know something that you would like to share?

1. Did it not work before or after you tried to update the firmware? If it didn't work before that, I would venture to guess the aperture blades are stuck.2. You can download the Olympus firmware...
-
Kudos. Excellent capture.

The E-1 just keeps giving and giving doesn't it. Very nice captures Fred.

Have you tried unscrewing the knob? From what I see of the E-Bay photos it's right under the locking pin. Unscrew the knob as it may let the pin retract so you can get the lens off.
