And the brightness difference is not so small. Because it' a little more than 0.5 eV but on a bigger format sensor. So the differences for DOF speaking is greater than a mere 0.6 stop
-
300$ ??? It cost 999 $ at b&h It's a 99$ difference... And here in Europe the difference will be even smaller
-
A Voigtlander 25 f0,95 is about the same price. But it covers a bigger format, and it's way faster. And this isn't expensive...right, yeah.

I've tried the Nikon, but only for a few hours, so I can't make any final statement. Anyway I didn't find a good way to work smoothly as with a Ricoh.
No fanboy here...;-)
My main cameras are...

The usability.
If you ever worked with a Ricoh GR you can understand why Nikon A can't be even near... Expecially for street shooters.

Please, if you find other samples could you let me know? It's an interesting camera because is very small...But I need to see more pictures...

And, no, Rx1 is faster than original X100. Not an easy task since DOF is more critical... But out preferite sport seems to be speaking about never seen equipment. Really useful...

Please go to www.asphericperspective.com and see which camera I use
It's the reason why I've sold the X100s. I've tried the RX1 and I've bought one. So I've sold the X100s. Anyway I' ll post some...

I don't think so.
I don't care about composition, or contents. I'm looking for sharpnesss , color quality, DR, shadow details, JPEG smudging, etc

I was talking about AF speed, not Image quality, when I was talking about "standards". Anyway the X100s is way better than X100. I've owned both, I don't speak without a direct experience, you...
-
2 years ago I could accept that kind of speed.Today it's a different story. Standard are very different today.
I don't like their samples...I can't see a "stellar image quality", sorry.
-
At 2048 pixel size we can say nothing about image quality,...
-
Epic fail. A mirrorless camera will be more coherent. Smaller lenses, smaller body. Pointless strategy.
-
No cropped camera can "equalizing" the "FF quality". Simply different format means different quality, no matters how good is the smaller sensor. Can't match a bigger one. Try to work with 2 formats...
-
Not here, in Italy. I've bought the Sony for 485 €. The Nikon will ship for 350 €.
-
Pointless camera. RX100 is way ahead. Canon and Nikon compatcs are outdated. By a good margin.
-
Galleries with just OOCJ are not fully showing cameras's potential quality.
-
You can correct vignetting in camera. And it works very very well. Anyway I do love the light fall off. I've disabled that option and I think the lense's character came out even better.

Bah. I own several Fujis cameras and no one can come close to this one. It's a no match
