Paul Storm: dammit sigma, now i have to spend $60 just to update my lens firmware!
except for the fact that I never ever had the need to send my canon lenses back to canon for "firmware update".And also can do MA directly in camera w/o the need of whatsoever usb dock
LOL nikon. Welcome to 2006!
dat halo. otherwise good. been there. magical place for sure
comparatively cheap if you consider what ya get, we're talkin bout hermes bere, no BS
what a shame. PS all the way. unbelievable
and if it autofocuses at f/8 it's even better than 1Dx. Hope it can shoot in RAW
ill never ever go out without one
anyway. I just ordered mine. It will carry 01/10 number on it, which is nice. You better hurry up bcs there's only 9 units left!
they do not mention the strap though.for 9.99 it better be leather or some other kind of decorated textile.i'd like a navajo style thing, with eagle feathers and everythingr
yea but when you get sick of the polished wood you can always ask to your local crafstman to engrave it with deers, hunting scenes, naked women or whateverr
bdery: "Ensure that your camera gear is protected from the elements too: there are plenty of weatherproof covers available on the market to protect your camera body and lens"
Or just buy a weatherproof camera (but you'll have to leave Canikon behind and venture in the unkown...)
i mean: weather resistant
5d is not water resistant
DimensionSeven: Are these photos really supposed to be 'beautiful'? Not for me, sorry.. The article is nice for beginners, but the illustrations should have been more inspirational.
that's something I have noticed in other articles as well. Photos are pretty average. There are loads of much better images in the dpreview users' galleries.
Ashley Pomeroy: Some pedant's going to come along and say that it should be tilted about two degrees clockwise. I'm not going to be that man.
some other would say that CA + noise are pretty annoying but I'm not going to be that man!
anyway sure is was ISO200?
those pics actually suck in my opinion and for sure are not keepers
