Considering it inherits the K-01 video features, I believe it does.
-
I expect the K-30 ergonomics to be on par with other Pentaxes - that is, above average. They value compact bodies (a good camera is a camera you take everywhere), but the ergonomics hardly suffer...

I have Pentax equipment and love my classic lenses, but I won't be buying new "DA" lenses any sooner. Lenses prices are ludacrious, and although I believe they deliver optically, there's no way...
-
Don't get too spoiled by Kai. He didn't reviewed K-5, K-7, K20D, or any pro Pentax body.
-
I hope it's customisable. Previous Pentax interface was really minimal, with flat solid colours that are readable.
-
The K-r is entry level. This one is a successor for the old K20D, since it offers weather resistance and other pro features (dual dials, TAv mode, user modes, 100% pentaprism).
-
Funny how this preview is not "featured", huh? Even P&S previews got more exposure.
-
@HowaboutRAW All Pentax cams since K-x have CDAF in Live View. You're misinformed.
-
Because they don't want their brands to be considered non-pro by stiff people. That's why almost everybody releases booooooring bodies.
-
If Pentax designers are on mushrooms, I'm in!
-
You want medium format for $4k, but I believe Pentax is still in the business of making a profit.
-
@RichardBalonglong They have to cut corners obviously. They can't get at this price point in a WR body by enslaving workers.
-
Yeah... and it won't even make an espresso after a day out shooting in the rainforest either. Damn, it might suck!

Yeah... and it won't even make an espresso for me after a day out shooting either. Damn, it's too limited!

The Rebel lineup doesn't even compare to this.

The Rebel lineup doesn't even compare to this. Unless they step up and put 7D level sealing on the next T4i and offer cheap weather resistant lenses.
-
"Weather stripping I think is a bit gimmicky" WR might be the most underrated feature ever. It's great for people who actually take the camera outside.
-
They are a lot more funnier now, I suppose. Leica is always an option if you're stuck on the past, though.
