this has to be one of the more ridiculous things I've read on these forums, I would agree with you IQ will be different but do add all of that other nonsense?? fans boys are present everywhere...

Initially the 56mm was supposed to be a 1.4, so you'll find some protype photos from the various shows it was displayed in, since about early spring or maybe earlier FUJI updated the roadmap and...
-
the FUJI 10-24 is stabilized, not too many UWA have that so I'm sure it adds to the bulk. And as stated if it's another optically corrected lens I'll take a bit of extra bulk for quality over size.

not when you hold one and look through the terrible evf

I owned it too, and I just don't see how it beats it silly, to me the PL25 was sharper and not to mention focused faster
If you're comparing a lens that doesn't exist yet, I'd bet the upcoming...

no offense, love my x-e1 and lenses but as a former m43 user I can tell you that the panasonic 25mm f.14 is really good, even sharper wide open than the fuji 35mm. The panasonic 20mm f1.7 kills...

not sure how all the discussion started on the GX7 but I'll say this much, one hell of a body. You know the af, the speed, the video will be amazing, and so many other features that frankly blow...

If AF is the only meaningful improvement for you, that's fine. I love my X-E1, it has it's quirks, and for me AF tracking is an irrelevant need, it's not the type of shooting I do so improvements...

not up to par is probably poor wording by me, I'm referring to the X-E1 not being a very responsive camera, it's fine for the most part but a little laggy. Do you think it's a responsive camera?...

That would be awesome and more inline with the xpro body, so I have my doubts with this rumor.

I'm kind of expecting all along the XE update to be just the added X100s features/speed/refinement, and I'd be happy with that. If it is I might upgrade 6 months after the release. For my use...

Is it the same size as the 18-55? i could swear when I saw it looked much much larger but I didn't care too much to investigate further.
I think it's good to have a 55-200 in the x line but yes I...

your really think this lens is an advantage? it's going to be huge, it defeats the whole purpose of these cameras and isn't it close to $1K? Sony seems to be confused or changing strategy with E...

It depends on your shooting style but if you like top notch primes it's not even close, go with Fuji. Much better choices and an actual lens map being filled in with focal lengths that make sense....
-
clever add on, but it would be nice for fuji to make this add on as an accessory.
-
I much prefer the fuji way of making appropriate equivalent focal lengths like the 23mm, 35mm, 56mm, 60mm instead of standard focal lengths to be used on a crop. 50mm is a bit odd focal length on a...

check out the review recently posted by Jordan Steele below, then maybe compare it against other know reviews of the 18-55mm. From a build perspective there is definitely a big differance between...

from all of the fuji x system users reviews, I'm seeing mostly postivie reviews, not super sharp but it seems decent. Personal criticism is the price for sure! For what it offers it's overpriced...
-
you would be correct, for some reason I've only seen the gripped option or maybe that other brand gripped option. RRS L without grip seems to be the better design here.

thanks, really like this over the gripped L-plates out there and not too bad at $90
