MikeF4Black: Funny how those Sony (sponsored) outings end up in all those similar GREAT, WOW! looking images, acxross the internet.
Michael Mann anyone?
No need to explain yourself Simon. I personally was just having a lighthearted English, sarcastic poke! For any others that truly believe there is some underhand ‘collusion’, I wouldn’t rise to even responding, life’s too short.
Getty sold one of my images to Pinterest last month for 6 Cents. My commission was 1 Cent, and I ain’t kidding!!!
Can the human eye actually resolve 8k video or are we at saturation limit with 4k?
Lee W: Blah, I have taken 3 once in a lifetime shots of the same location.
It was a joke. Geez. How can you do a 'once in a lifetime' anything more than once???

This is the death of the compact...
Lee W: Not bad to be fair...
Fair point, but I can only feel a limited amount of excitement about anything with electronic circuitry inside!

What about LR?
I have just replaced my Ford Mondeo badges with Bentley Continental one's. Maybe I have just quadrupled it's value...
Lee W: Just tried the XE-1 with new 1.05 firmware. Autofocus certainly no faster with the 35mm 1.4 as claimed :(
You are right, I stand corrected (said the man in the Orthopedic shoes!).

Peksu: Although it seems to be just updates for lenses I'm not interested in, the NEX-C3 (and F3, if it doesn't have the same support) better get the same update in time. It's the same generation as 5N.
Edit: Ok, if it's just lens corrections, I guess they don't have that. My bad. I heard someone say that it also gives 5N better bracketing, is that so? If so, that better be coming.
If they were to offer the new firmware for the C3, I'm pretty sure it would have been released today with the others. I cannot see it happening tbh.
Beats the D800 hands down!
Deserts the sinking ship, who can fault him?
I fully concur with John Omvik. The 'man on the street' would not even realise he was looking at a properly tonemapped, processed image anyway. He would just think it looked as natural as looking at the original scene with his naked eye.
Wow, looks very poor in both Jpeg & Raw. Especially in the corners.
